Hailing from down under (New Zealand/Aotearoa), I’ve fallen in love with the light, landscapes, and lifestyle of Provence, France – my home for the last 8 years.

I started Le Long Weekend when we moved here (in 2016) as a way to share our story of setting up life on the other side of the world, and to help others discover the lesser-frequented areas of France.

Since then, the blog has grown into a trusted resource for authentic, personal travel advice for destinations throughout Europe.
